Sentencing
James W. Waters, 45, of Frederick pleaded guilty to the charge of violation of an order of protection. Waters was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served, fined in the amount of $120 plus costs for a total of $807, and granted time to pay.
Brandi A. Dennis, 25, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charge of resisting a peace officer. Dennis was sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served, fined in the amount of $300 plus costs for a total of $737, and granted time to pay.
Jeremiah D. Self, 18, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Self was fined in the amount of $750 total and granted time to pay.
Calvin J. Wingate, 21, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charge of domestic battery. Wingate was placed on 12 months court supervision, sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served, fined in the amount of $100 plus costs for a total of $1,032, and granted time to pay.
Melissa N. Crabtree, 24, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charges of obstructing identification and possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis. Crabtree was placed on 12 months court supervision, sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served, fined in the amount of $300 plus costs for a total of $1,479, and granted time to pay.
Jennifer L. Massey, 20, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charge of disorderly conduct. Massey was placed on six months court supervision, fined in the amount of $100 plus costs for a total of $392, and granted time to pay.
John E. Groesch, 45, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charge of violation of an order of protection. Groesch was placed on 12 months court supervision, sentenced to five days jail with credit for five days served, fined in the amount of $200 plus costs for a total of $1,192, and granted time to pay.
Charles L. Story, 34, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charge of theft under $500. Story was placed on 12 months probation, sentenced to 11 days in jail with credit for 11 days served, fined in the amount of $100 plus costs for a total of $1,442, and granted time to pay.

Possession
Marcia N. Shafer, 44, of Beardstown was cited for methamphetamine possession, possession of controlled or counterfeit substances, failure to notify change of address, disobeying a stop sign, and aggravated and unlawful use of a weapon at 12:39 a.m. on July 24. Shafer was lodged at Schuyler Co. Jail and given notice to appear on Aug. 29.
Edwin J. Olmo-Bethancourt, 34, of Beardstown was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at 6:47 p.m. on July 22 and given notice to appear on Aug. 22.
Mark D. Benefiel, 53, of Muncie, Ind. was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis, driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, and possession of controlled substances at 8:22 p.m. on July 15. Benefiel was given notice to appear on Aug. 9.
Crystal W. Bennett, 34, of Beardstown was cited for delivery of cocaine on July 18 and lodged in Schuyler Co. Jail.
Larry E. Kauffman, 52, of Pleasant Plains was cited for possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:30 a.m. on July 24. Kauffman was lodged in Schuyler Co. Jail and given notice to appear on Aug. 22.

David J. Wetherell, 38, of Beardstown was cited for disobeying a stop sign at 6:38 a.m. on July 19.
Amanda L. Johnson, 32, of Quincy was cited for following too closely at 3:19 p.m. on July 19.
Lorenzo M. Gomez, 44, of Beardstown was cited for lack of valid driver’s license at 8:17 p.m. on July 9 and given notice to appear Aug. 9.
Ordinance Violations
Jose Antondo Najarro of Beardstown was cited for excessive barking on June 17 at 12:15 p.m.
