An accident occurred on June 11 at 2:09 a.m. when a vehicle driven by Adamah Ekoe drove into a garage.
Cass Co. Court
James P. Coats, 47, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of firearm without a firearm owner’s identification card. Coats was placed on six months court supervision, sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served, ordered to pay all court costs for a total of $287, and granted time to pay.
Shelly Neilson, 30, of Beardstown pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted forgery. Neilson was placed on 12 months court supervision, sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served, fined in the amount of $500 plus costs for a total of $1,467, and granted time to pay.
Craig R. Walden, 53, of Meredosia pleaded guilty to the charge of possession of less than five grams of methamphetamine. Walden was placed on 24 months second chance probation, sentenced to 10 days in jail with credit for 10 days served, fined in the amount of $200 plus costs for a total of $2,694, and granted time to pay.
