Edward M. Snyder, 41, of Beardstown plead guilty to a charge of battery. Snyder was placed on 12 months court supervision, sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served, ordered to take anger management and fined in the amount of $250 plus costs for a total of $942.
Joseph D. Devore, 28, of Beardstown plead guilty to a charge of battery. Devore was sentenced to one day in jail with credit for one day served and fined in the amount of $300 plus costs.
James L. Parks, 56, of Ashland plead guilty to a charge of criminal trespass to residence. Parks was placed on 12 months court supervision, sentenced to two days in jail with credit for two days served, ordered to take anger management and fined in the amount of $250 plus costs for a total of $922.
Cynthia A. Morrison, 30, of Glenarm plead guilty to a charge of obstructing identification. Morrison was fined in the amount of $300 plus costs for a total of $652.
Rodolfo Garcia, 27, of Beardstown plead guilty to a charge of possession of a controlled substance. Garcia was placed on 24 months second chance probation, sentenced to three days in jail with credit for three days served and fined in the amount of $250 plus costs for a total of $2,517.
Jason R. Schreieck, 42, of Beardstown plead guilty to charges of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams. Schreieck was fined in the amount of $750 total on the possession of drug paraphernalia charge and fined in the amount of $100 plus costs on the possession of cannabis charge. Schreieck's fines and costs totaled $1,495.
Cass Co. Sheriff
A Virginia teen who was missing for about a day last week was later located “alive and safe in Oklahoma,” according to the Cass County Sheriff’s office.
Mary L. Budrick, 16, was reported missing by her mother who last saw the teen at 6 a.m. Tuesday, July 7. When the mother returned home at 10 a.m., her daughter was missing and a car was gone, according to an Illinois State Police alert.
She was believed to be accompanied by Russell Wade, 45, of California.
The teen was found at approximately 3:33 a.m. Wednesday, July 8. Wade was not with her.
